Have you met someone online with whom you fell in love or began to fall in love before you ever met in person?

I’m a journalist and a masters student at the Columbia University School of Journalism, and I’m producing a half-hour radio documentary that in part seeks to explore how the Internet is changing the ways we fall in love. I’m searching for individuals who met online—whether through a dating site or through MySpace, Facebook, Tribe, etc.—and fell or began to fall in love through online correspondence and/or chatting before meeting in person. I’m interested in interviewing individuals and couples from both current and past relationships that started online.

I will need to record the conversation, as the project is for radio. My intention is to pitch the documentary in whole or in part to national and local NPR programs, and I have received initial interest from several venues.
