Violinist Hannah with Copal, Boston-based electronic ambient group combines traditional worldbeat sounds with electronic beats and soundscapes of the modern age.
Nyxyss, a collaboration of Haj and Hannah, and Mikio with special guests, bring the evening to a peak with lush and compelling sounds, an expansive sense of journey and and an eye to the dancefloor, creating an inspired intentional DJ-dancevibe gathering, deeply accentuated by strains of violin.

"What happens when you put Copal & Sera on the same stage?" is a VERY enticing question

But for the Entheo Salon the next night, Sat 6/14 . . . CoSMosis will dazzle.

Sat, June 7, 2008 - 11:56 PMLooks like I'm going to be able to entice Jehan Kamal international acknowledged as a leading creative force for decades in the belly dance world to step out of her role as dancer/choreographer and grab a mic and frame drum to play some of her arabic/aphrodidic music with me at Primordiale.
(Posted a cute shot in the Freek photo gallery of her daughter Serena chillin with Sera's daughter Sequoia at Spirit of the Tribes BTW)
Jehan is about to bust a move this June 25th to the tune of an hour on prime time ABC to 50 million viewers in 130 countries. Serpentessa and her snakes get quite a bit of camera time as well and your friendly neighborhood horned freek dj is off camera droppin beats. More on this later this month. :-) -
