SUB SWARA (1st fridays of the month)

Spanning the range of all things ill and dreadly. If we like it and we think it will move you we are prone to drop it. I've seen the future and it looks like Sub Swara....

'...we mix it all up and people get rowdy to all of it. That's how new genres start, and it's about time for something fresh to pop out of New York City that's urban and bangin', but not hip hop or rock. I'm big excited on what's coming around the bend, because nobody really knows but we feel something is about to blow up.'

Thu, January 3, 2008 - 1:35 PM
Just got back to Brooklyn after a 36 hour hemispheric traversal. Last thing I remember I was having breakfast with Juakali and Nasha on the beach in Goa and now it's 70 degrees colder and I'm a bit delirious. But far from sad cuz this big ting is goin' down tomorrow -- couldn't have a better way to return.
Can't wait to reconnect with ya freekz! -

Re: The Takeover @ LOVE
Thu, January 10, 2008 - 11:02 PMi came to the freek factory tribe tonight to check and see in the hopes that this was happenin tomorrow. ive been so far out of the loop of whats been goin on lately.
the sound at love is sick and the bass can make cracks in the earth, and i always bring ear plugs when i go there to stand in front of a stack and just soak the bass vibrations.
personally i dig this venue over the place on essex street in the east village for so many reasons. ive got to mark my calendar for the next one. -
