my favorite thing about **Love*, aside from the fact that the sound is full on iLLLL!!!, is the fact that we can always go until 6 in the morning. being myself i usually find my prefered dance floors after 4am. when the people who are left are the people who are most deeply compelled and we stride the subtle gradient from dance party to organic ritual. i love when dancers drop down and are met by the music. the hour when everything gets just a little darker, a little grittier, a little more holy. it's dub paradise.
just to let you know that i will be taking there with a little solo biz in the witching hour. are you feeling that?
for me this is the most complete line up we have put together for a sub swara night. international low-end heavyweights, and the opportunity to properly welcome sharmaji to the swaran fold. i am going to strongly recommend special attention when dhruva and dave mash it up and bring all that locally grown bass weight to bare.
can't wait to see all of you fine fools again. vietnam was great but i miss the honey roasted nuts.(?)

since you asked, mary anne has been a core supporter of sub swara this year; running dhruva's new tracks on the regular; mad upping the event; and hosting dhruva and sharmaji's memorable soundclash with skull disco. can't really tell you how pleased we are to be welcoming mary anne down into the vault of our subterranean bass haven.
as well a being the global ambassador for multiple forms of big-bottomed experimental electronic music, she is even moreso an entertainment sub-industry unto herself. her's is an inspired freek success story of magnitude.

as for stereotyp, let me only add that i have been running his tracks since first i heard them, and following his career closely ever since. he is a pioneer in the field of digi-dancehall which is moving so many of us at the moment, from the bug, to sub swara, to kraddy, to the nextmen. stereotyp was out ahead of the curve. his sound is dark and driving. specially built for a big system.
i believe it is going to be a sexy night.

Good news is that Sequoia and I will be there in mid-december to spend the holidays with you all and kick it for 3 weeks.
